My dad used to have this kind of wild definition of “truth”:
“Truth is the lie that best describes the situation at the time, and is subject to change.”
At the time it was being used to explain science and how what we “know” about the world we live in changes as new information comes to light… but you tell that to a teenager and it just makes it sound like there is no difference between the truth and a lie.
I like the definition only because it can be a conversation starter, but its not really all that realistic from an education stand point.
