I wanted to take a moment to introduce Nathan. He’s new to this writing stuff…
We’ve known each other for a while, and he’s been among the first to give me feedback on my own writing. This has inspired him to experiment with some writing of his own.
I’m looking forward to seeing what he comes up with, and I hope you all will give him a warm welcome and maybe some constructive feedback if you’re moved to do so.
I appreciate the opportunity and space to experiment with my new found inspiration. I hope that I can write something that will be enjoyed.
My pronouns are He/Them. My given name is Nathanial but I hate it, so I go by Nathan or Nate.
I typically stay away from social media. Messed around on Google Circles once upon a time, for those of you who remember that blip of a platform.
I’m a bit of a perfectionist in some parts of my life and a little chaotic in others. I enjoy planning and spontaneity in equal measure, but when faced with an unfamiliar experience I’d prefer to be able to plan.
I enjoy working with my hands, in dirt, construction, manual labor and I’m not naturally a creative person so this is going to be a real test. But I am trying to actively foster creativity so it will be worth it for the opportunity to grow.
A word of warning… Sarah would describe my most recent work as “Spicy”, if you’re not a fan of that kind of writing, maybe skip it. It will be tagged accordingly.
Without further adieu, here is a little taste of what kind of stuff I’ve been working on.
Do red cars cost more to insure?

You may have heard the myth that red cars cost more to insure, often with varying reasons why. The truth is, the color of your car has nothing to do with your premium. Insurance companies are more interested in your vehicle’s make, model, age, safety features, and your driving history. What’s not a myth, though — is that people really can save a ton of money by switching insurers. Check out Money’s car insurance tool to see if you could, too.
